Funding Ideas and Grants
Contact your local Lions, Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs to donate the outdoor fitness equipment "in kind" to your local park or school.
Some communities have worked with their local Rotary, Lions and other clubs and organizations to help provide funding and manpower to install their outdoor gym to save on cost. Typically cities, municipalities, towns and regional districts can provide the park land and local clubs can help provide the funding to purchase the equipment.

Corporate sponsors and donors are another great way to help secure funding for an outdoor gym equipment purchase for your community. Businesses who sponsor a fitness park can have their name placed on a sign board thanking them as a sponsor/donor along with mention in the local newspaper and social media feeds.

Contact any of the major telephone communication companies, big banks and credit unions, insurance companies, sporting goods manufacturers, hardware stores or major fast food restaurant chains and ask them to get on board to help make you the most active community in Canada.
